weekly theme

I guess the theme for this week is resolutions, well, the reason for resolutions. Most people make them to try and better themselves somehow. Bettering myself has become a habit for me, changing who I am. Constantly with my ear cocked for that whisper of truth that will set me free. I have changed, I am better. I am going to enjoy my hard work this year and have fun. I know how now, with out the self destruction.
I got me a Wii. I told the kids it was for their x-mas but its for me. For ME to have fun with them. So far I am the man to beat. The guitar hero 3 is kind of hard but I'm going to practice every day if I have to. I know my friend Doug in Arkansas plays that so I'm playing the bass part so we can play a song together someday. I think video games are mostly good for nothing and havent messed with them for years so I plan on playing a lot of them this year.
The biggest loser was on last night and it was good. I dont think the old man wanted to be there.
Dr. Phil was a good one today also, about the myth of willpower. What I said about him in my last post...it got me to thinking. I'm going back to church.
I'm going to find a church and go there. I'm going to just sit, listen, and keep my mouth shut for a year. Just listen.
It snowed here a little today and I went out in it. It was cool. The burn ban was lifted today at 5pm. Oh am I going to burn some yard waste tomorrow, oh yes I am. The south-east US is in the worst drought in recorded history but its rained here lately so I guess the powers that be are going to give us a chance to get rid of some of these sticks and leaves.
But for now its almost 8 and I'm all set to kick back for the evening. I like the TV. What do you do to relax in at night... other than sex.
